Special Interest Groups

OhioSMART has several active special interest groups, or sub-groups that meet on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. This is a great way to get to know people outside of the dungeon, devolope friendships and learn a lot about yourself and others!!

Please consult the calender on the left side of this page for exact dates and be aware that these events are subject to change. You can email or phone us if you would like more information or to verify the time and location of an event you would like to attend.

SMARTMunch

The SMARTMunch (formerly known as Drt/srt) is a monthly munch held on the Fourth Tuesday of every month. Locations rotate to restaurants around NE Ohio. We generally have a private room to allow for open discussion. It is open to all who would like to learn more about SMART and to those seeking fellowship with other SMART Members. Cost is generally only what you consume.

SMART Energy

This group focuses on Energy work of all types, including Reiki, Tantra, Sacred Sexuality, Qadishti, Vampire Energy work, Guided meditation and Guided Imagery. What we cover will be determined by those that participate. Meetings are on the 1st Monday of the month. You can keep up to date with meetings on the energy yahoo group

OutSMART

OutSMART is our group that gets us out of the dungeon and into fun adventures! This group is open to everyone and often open to vanilla partners and friends who are open to WIITWD. These events will be scheduled by individuals and hosted by such. If you would like to organize an OutSMART event, please email us at: info@ohiosmart.org.

KOBRAS

(Kinky Old Bastards/Bitches Really Are Sexy) - This group is specifically for those aged 50+. This group will discuss the needs, challenges and excitement of practicing BDSM into your senior years. KOBRAS meet on the Second Sunday of each odd numbered month. They also host special outings that are often open to kinksters of all ages.

SMART-TNG

(The Next Generation) - This is THE place to meet and greet with fellow kinksters between the ages of 19-35 in the Cleveland, Ohio area!

What is a munch?

A munch is a very casual, social get together for those in the BDSM community. We meet at local restaurants, in vanilla attire, eat and just chat about our lives, our common interest in BDSM and anything else on our minds at the moment. Some of OhioSMART's munches have a topic and others are more free formed based on the needs/desire of the group at hand.
