Presenter Bios*

In addition to our keynote speaker Michelle Belanger, SMARTFEST 2007 is lucky to have many other talented presenters sharing their knowledge and expertise in our Saturday class sessions.

Lolita Wolf Lolita Wolf loves to play, play, play but is also an activist and an educator who has share her knowledge at groups and events around the country. She is an Emeritus Board Member of both TES and Leather Leadership Conference, former chair of LSM, Honorary Member of GMSMA, and active with NCSF and Leather Pride Night. Lolita has received numerous awards including two Pantheon of Leather Community Service Awards, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Leather Association, the Vaughn Keith National Education Award from Black Rose, the Defenders NY Founders Award and the 2000 Centurion Award from the Leather Archives & Museum. Mistress SimoneMistress Simone has been a lifestyle Mistress as well as a professional Domina for thirteen+ years. Currently working on her PhD in psychology, she hopes to eventually be a kink friendly psychiatrist. Her community service has included the executive directorship of the LRA ,Inc. formerly known as the Leather Rose, various auctions, judging at GLLA 2006,volunteering at LA&M and giving educational discussions and seminars throughout the Midwest. Some of the arenas she has presented to include Vicious Valentine, Leather Sins, Shibaricon, Galleria Domain 2 and Domcon. College lectures include Northwestern and University of Chicago. Ms Simone has presented on a wide array of topics from fear play to being a pro domme but has a special love for cbt, medical play and mummification. Her energy is currently focused on expanding the community's awareness on professional dommes, medical play and cbt. She is the titleholder of International Trainer 2004 with her Puppy Fifi.

Barak & sheba Barak is a wickedly perverted, poly, semi-het, quasi-Dom, who never takes himself too seriously. After an initial foray into the scene in the early 90s, he took a long hiatus to investigate other avenues of spiritual/sexual exploration. Three years ago, his loving Brat began taunting him to return to the public SM scene. Since that moment, it has been an intense, wild and crazy ride. He has long enjoyed sharp, shiny and pointy things which are the basis for their favorite presentation. His current preferences in play include single tails, take down and resistance play, knife and needle play, biting, scratching and heavy impact play, and he loves a really great mindfuck.

Sheba calls herself a poly bisexual switch, but most people call her other things like Princess, Brat, Bitch, Slut, Shoe Whore, and Mistress! She is relatively new to the scene only having been playing publicly for a little over two years. While she has spent the last year exploring her desires and trying new things, she still has a couple of cherries to pop. The types of play she likes so far include Resistance/Take-Down play, Fear play, Impact play, Spanking, and Knife/Needle Play. She is now creating a fun journey, learning to administer female genitorture.

Having been together for over 7 years, Barak & Brat sheba are a primary partnered, open relationship couple, living in Columbus, Ohio. They are currently exploring more of the Protocol D/s experience, and have collared their kitty; a lovely and obedient submissive. While in search of their bliss, they have explored various avenues of sensual, sexual, spiritual and hedonistic delights. They entered the Columbus BDSM scene a little over two years ago. They currently run Adventures in Sexuality, a frolicking, fun PanPolyBDSM group and present classes for leather and non-leather groups.

Dan & dawn Dan has a dynamic ability to bring words to life, being a public speaker with a community theater background, . His workshops and presentations range from leather safety, D/s relationships, finding your authentic self, embracing your passionate nature, and sacred sexuality. His presentations are a mix of Ds/Leather lifestyle but include touches of Tantra, sexuality, and humor. Dan also has a background in addictions recovery and has worked in halfway houses in both Maryland and Ohio. He is currently serving as Treasurer of Poly Columbus.

Dawn is an ordained and licensed Pagan clergy in the State of Ohio, with a passion for alternative weddings. She has presided over many transgender, poly, pagan, and leather weddings and handfastings. She believes that being a Clergy in her chosen religion is both a blessing and a responsibility, and actively mentors people in the community. She is recognized as a leader in the local Pagan Community and facilitates a very successful Pagan spiritual study group in Columbus, OH. She also offers healing as a Reiki Master, shadow mentor, and teacher. As a Qadishtu (Priestess of Sacred Sexuality), she uses the appropriate combination of these styles to help heal those that come to her with wounded hearts.

Together, Dan and dawn have founded/co-created numerous social and support groups, such as The Forum and The Leather Swing. They have given powerful presentations with numerous organizations, including Leather groups (such as National Leather Association and SEO BDSM), spiritual events (such as AEON), as well as events including Dark Odyssey and Sensuality Fair.

Dan and dawn consistently receive excellent reviews for their combined workshops, demos, and presentations. As they move between clear and simple presentation of facts and information to personal stories of thier fascinating past experiences together, they energize their audiences with "the ease and grace of people that enjoy what they are doing".

Jim & jerith Jim Fox, a career military man, uses the authority that he has learned in the service in perverse ways at home. He is a former founder and moderator of a Master/slave discussion and support group in the Virginia area, but upon moving to Chicago, he can now be found most weekends at local clubs frightening the shit out of his slave Jerith. In addition to influencing and controlling her emotionally, he enjoys the more physical side of the lifestyle, and has given classes on Breath Play, Fear Play, Mind Fucking, and Rape Scenes.

Jerith is a devoted slave. She is active in the local scene as the education coordinator for Galleria Domain 2, as well as the co-president of The Next Generation Chicago. She enjoys breath-play, both with a partner and solo, as well as being scared to death by her host of various fears. Together, the couple has taught in Virginia, Washington DC, South Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia, and Michigan.

Wilson & lora We love the raw, intense, raucous side(s) of BDSM and believe that BDSM is a unique means through which to explore and uninhibitedly unleash powerful desires, fears, and emotions. Although we love to �go deep� and take what we do very seriously, we also have a great time with it, which we try to reflect in our presentations. We are active in the Chicago BDSM community and present on a variety of topics, including humiliation & degradation, fear play, rough body play and face slapping, casual play, and legal issues faced by BDSM practitioners. To date, we have been honored to speak around the Chicago area and the Midwest, including presentations in Chicago for Galleria Domain II, The Next Generation Chicago, SINSations in Leather, and Kinky Kollege, as well as Wicked Detroit, MiChatOhs, The Next Generation Ann Arbor, and the Quad Cities� Riverbound.

Master Z Born in 1954 Master Z grew up in the Chicago area and at the age of 22 began learning the many facets of the lifestyle in the Leather Bars and Clubs of Chicago. He now spends his spare time teaching various BDSM subjects and as an activist who defends the rights and sexual freedoms of all persons to practice whatever type of Alternative Lifestyle they choose. In his travels he spreads the word about Safe, Sane and Consensual BDSM and promotes the D/s lifestyle. After a successful career in business Master Z retired in 2001 at the age of 47 and lives happily in the Chicago area.

LottaLotta has been going out crossdressed for 14 years. She has been a member of Alpha Omega, and a board member of the North Coast Paradise Club. Lotta has been a presenter at SMARTFEST the past 2 years

TerriTerri has been involved in the lifestyle for 9 years. She served on the CARPE DIEM planning committee for two years. She now serves on the board of the Purple Rose Society, an Akron based BDSM group. She is an experienced top who has presented at Ohio LeatherFest, SMARTFest and various small groups in the area. She has a fondness for rhythmic play and takes great pleasure in demonstrating her style of play to others.

Master Lucar Master Lucar has been a leader and frequent instructor at lifestyle events in NE Ohio for many years. He has been a presenter and staff member at both OLF and SMARTfest. His explorations into BDSM began early in life and have continued, mostly in private, throughout his adult life. He believes that the cornerstones of a positive healthy relationship are Honesty, Openness, and Integrity. The three necessities to sustaining such a relationship are communication, communication, and communication. All of this must be built on a bedrock of TRUST.

Ms. Meg Ms. Meg is a lifestyle Mistress and Dominant. Like many in the scene she was doing BDSM activities at an early age, but not always understanding what it was or that there was a name for it.

Since coming out in the lifestyle over 7 years ago she has acquired vast experience and has enjoyed many different aspects of the scene. She believes in Safe Sane and Consensual play and respects all limits. Ms. Meg is a past Trustee of Ohio SMART and has been a Chairperson for SMART Fest for several years.

She has taught classes such as, Flogging 101, Domming for Dummies, Positively Poly, Slave Training, Toymaking and Mental Play & Humiliation at events for MS/DS in Cincinnati, Purple Rose Society in Akron, Ohio SMART and SMART Fest in Cleveland. She has also sat on several discussions panels at local groups in her area.

Although it's hard to choose favorites, since her love of BDSM activities are vast and ever changing, some of her much loved activities include: Florentine Flogging, Spanking and Impact Play, Humiliation and Objectification, Foot Worship, Knife Play, Wax Play and practicing the art of High Protocol.
