Volunteers
Volunteers who would like to help by contributing their time and efforts
for SMARTFEST are always greatly appreciated. If you would like to
donate some of your time (as much or as little as you'd like) and give a
little something back to the community please see the details below.

of your Registration Form or send us an

SMARTFEST is in need of volunteers who can help at the even in the following capacities:
- Registration
- Help with the registration and work at the registration/check-in
& information table
- Vendor move-in/out:
- Assist our vendors with move-in and move-out.
- Kitchen & Bar:
- Tend the bar pouring sodas & coffee or help serving lunch & snacks.
- Security:
- Provide security to all doors
- Dungeon Monitors:
- Monitor the Play Spcae to ensure that safe, sane & consensual play takes place.
- Classroom (Facilities) Setup:
- Teaching Assistants are needed to help instructors with their needs.
- Event Support:
- Help out with whatever tasks the Committee Chairs may need at the event.

Volunteer Registrations
If you would like to attend but can not afford the full cost of the event we have a limited
number of volunteer registrations available where you agree to work 6 hours during the event.
We can not guarantee what or where you will be working at this time. Volunteer Registration
price is $45. Please email us
to inquire about Volunteer Registration
availability. In years past we have needed strong backs to help with vendor move in and move
out, because of the stairs. This year, there are no stairs. Our new first floor location changes
that. We are in most need of door people/security and DMs. There are a limited number of
Volunteer spots, so be sure to email us to confirm your spot before mailing in your registration.
Scholarships
Full Scholarships for the event will also be available on a very limited basis. A full scholarship
requires 12 hours of service during the event.
