Annual Festivus Munch @ Li Wah

Once again, the magic of the holiday season will be transforming our usual SMART Munch into everyone's favorite sarcastic nonholiday: Festivus! The holiday for the rest of us!

This annual celebration will be held at Li Wah, a fantastic Chinese restaurant in the E 30th/Superior (aka Asia Plaza) area of the East Side. They have a large, accommodating seating area, wonderful Mai Tai's, and food that does not disappoint! Please come ready with an open mind--they have some of the most authentic Chinese cuisine around, including hard to find specialties (don't worry, though...they have more Americanized fare as well).

As in past Festivus celebrations, we will have an airing of grievances and competitions of feats of strength. (These may include bizarre foods).

Please note the munch is moving from the usual fourth Tuesday to Tuesday, December 18th. Mark your calendars!

You must RSVP via the discussion thread on SMART's main group page. We get 30+ people every year so PLEASE RSVP (including +1, +2's...) and advise us of any changes to your plans in the thread.

This is not the best neighborhood, but not horrible. There is a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant, but do not leave any visible valuables out in your car.
