SMART Queers Munch at the Cleveland Museum of Art

  • January 16, 2019
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM (UTC-03:00)
  • Cleveland Museum of Art 11150 East Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44106

We all want to be seen - from titles and pronouns to clothing and prosthetics and more, there are many tools we can use to express and feel affirmed in our gender expression, and ways to affirm others whether or not they use those things. Inspired by play space chit-chat we've heard the last few weeks, let's all get together and pool our knowledge to skill-share, lift each other up, and foster understanding.

This talk is OPEN to people who are not trans/non-binary/gender non-conforming! Odds are, you have trans folk close to you who can benefit from you learning about what these things mean to us. Come listen and please be super kind and respectful about asking questions.

We will be meeting in the Atrium at the tables next to the cafe. Members will arrive as early as 6:30 to secure table space, with the discussion beginning at 7pm. Free parking can be found around Wade Oval, and paid parking is available onsite. The museum is 1 mile away from the Little Italy/University Circle Rapid Station. (This venue great for introverts - get overwhelmed, need some space? The museum is huge and quiet in most places. Go look at some art and come back to us!) IT IS WINTER, SO THE DOORS ON THE POND/FOUNTAIN SIDE OF THE BUILDING WILL BE LOCKED! You HAVE to enter through the main entrance.
