OhioSMART August Ties: Self suspension / Partnered Suspension Part 3

This is part 3 of 4 on the path to suspension, we will be covering how to turn Single column ties into uplines, as well as how to attach an upline to the suspendable harnesses we learned in part 2. Then we will practice upline management and how to lift, lower and lock-off uplines safely. Finishing off with some exercises to tie partial suspension shapes with the skills you have learned in the series so far.

Please Note:

• This is a tie along or audit class and the skills taught can be self tied or tied on a partner.
• Prerequisite should be the skills learned in part 1 and 2 of this series including being able to tie a single column and a suspendable Chest harness.
• You must be using suspension worthy rope and equipment. Some extra hardpoint gear will be available for those who don't own it.

There will be open tie time available at the end and Lotta and Emie will be available to help with questions.

This class will be taught by @aLottaRope, a rope switch who enthusiastically enjoys selftying, as well as connecting with tying partners thru rope in a playful, dynamic and caring style (with the occasional amount of gremlin energy).

• Rope/Gear: note book, 4-6x30' hanks. We have some to share if needed.
• Safety: Shears/Cutting Tool
• Class Type: Hands On, Tie Along
• Class Setup: Mat/Ground Area (Hard Points for open tie time)
• Prerequisite: Single Column Tie (must know)
• Must bring
