Come join us in April for a special extended format SMARTies class with Traeonna!
Binding Intentions: Utilizing Rope in Ritual, Energy Work, and Other Practices
Rope is an extension of self, a means of communication, and a transformative tool. Through a combination of rope binding and pressure, physical touch, and cultivating an awareness of shared experience, participants will learn techniques that can be used for various types of energy exchange, ritual practice, or to deepen the connection between partners. Participants will explore this tool through discussion, demonstration, hands-on exercises, and ritual practice. No rope skills or previous energy work is assumed or required. Partners are not required, but are encouraged.
Traeonna has been involved with the kink and leather communities for 20+ years. In 1997, she founded Power & Trust (a kinky education and support group) with encouragement from her Leather Mama, Goddess Lakshimi. In 2010, she founded Knotty Knowledge (a rope bondage peer study group). In 2013, she became an honorary beta member of La Fraternitié du Loup-Garou and was the featured presenter at CampOUT Revival 2014. Over the years, she has been a member of several groups and clubs. Traeonna is most known for her Japanese culture-related bondage lecture/workshop called All Tied Up and Back To Basics classes/workshops. Traeonna regularly presents a variety of hands-on workshops, teaches customized classes at private parties and events, and rigs for photo shoots and performances. It has been said she is "the sweetest, most innocent looking sadist you would ever want to meet." When not tying people up, Traeonna loves to sew (especially American 1950s, Victorian, and Japanese Lolita fashion), teach hula hoop fitness/dance/meditation classes/workshops, and is involved with roller derby.
